The Halifax Helpers is an official chapter of YouthInspirEd Foundation.  Through our free online platform, we provide accessible K-12 tutoring support while equipping young people under 30 with the skills, resources, and mentorship to lead our programs.​

 

Our services are always free and always youth led.

The Halifax Helpers operates in Mi’kma’ki, the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq people. These lands are covered by the Treaties of Peace and Friendship, which were originally signed by the Mi’kmaq, Welostoqiiyik, and Passamaquody People with the British Crown in 1726. We are all Treaty People. 

 

We also acknowledge that people of African descent are historic Nova Scotian residents who have made meaningful contributions to our province for over 400 years.
