ENGLISH CONVERSATION GROUPS

Welcome to our English Conversation Group!

 

These sessions are a fun way for students to practice their English skills in an engaging, social setting.

​

Sessions are open to all primary and secondary school students and take place every Thursday at 7 P.M AST.

 

Availability is limited and students must register each week! A zoom link will be sent out to participants prior to the session.

​

Sessions are on hold and will resume in the Fall of 2027.

The Halifax Helpers operates in Mi’kma’ki, the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq people. These lands are covered by the Treaties of Peace and Friendship, which were originally signed by the Mi’kmaq, Welostoqiiyik, and Passamaquody People with the British Crown in 1726. We are all Treaty People. 

 

We also acknowledge that people of African descent are historic Nova Scotian residents who have made meaningful contributions to our province for over 400 years.
